The broad spectrum of 'Christian' religions take a large portion of their teaching from The Holy Bible. This book claims to be the instruction book from The One who actually created all things and who sustains us on a daily basis. He is a merciful God, not strictly enforcing his instruction. He lays down, in detail, his guidelines for man to have a happy and fulfilled life, but we don't have to keep them if we choose not to. Indeed we all know that it is impossible to keep them perfectly without His Holy Spirit in abundance. That's why His Son died for our sin. Does that give us license to blatantly ignore his instruction? His advice is that we must acknowledge our sin, accept that His Son died for ME and determine to change our lives around. For those who genuinely seek His Way he promises divine help through the Holy Spirit. The reward is a more fulfilled and happy life on earth and eternal life in His Glorious world. How foolish to ignore Him. The more of his instruction we take on board the more blessed our existence here on earth and, of course, the opposite is true. Much of what the churches teach today is not from His instruction. Determine to pursue the truth from today because John 8:32 the truth will set you free.
